Another headstone from the family cemetery that we passed. - The View is Great
A view of where we started and ended our walk. - Family Is Everything
One of the larger headstones that was in the family cemetery that we passed. - The Beginning vs. The End
While this is the same area we came into the path, the view coming out was absolutely breathtaking. Mother Nature brought us a beautiful day to adventure and explore. - Blue Skies
Nothing but blue skies and a few clouds when we came our of the gorge. Beautiful weather for the rest of our day. - Light at the End of the Tunnel
As we came to the end of our walk, we were able to see everything that started behind us and see the beauty that the day had brought us. - Look How Far We've Come
While we were a great ways up, we were able to look down and see everything we had just walked past but from a distance this time and it gave us a whole new view on perspective. - Bridge Over Troubled Water
One of the many bridges we walked over both at the beginning and end of our walk. This photo was taken on the way back out and the sunlight was absolutely perfect. - Stairway to Heaven
Although we had a lot of literal steps to walk up, this view made them so worthwhile and we were able to use the pain to find some beauty. - What a Journey
While walking back toward where we had started, we were able to see this beautiful view that welcome the rest of our adventures that day. - A Wee Bitty Swamp
While some may see this as a small mud pit, we couldn't help but appreciate the shadows that the leaves left and were able to see the beauty in what would otherwise be viewed as disgust. - Always Look in the Shadows
While many would pass over this little gem, we noticed a small stream that was hidden in the shadows of the leaves, trees, and rocks that surrounded us. - Everything Happens For a Reason
When we got halfway through our walk, we found out that we had to turn around and take a different way back because of flood and wind damage. Much to my dismay, we did as we were told but I had to take a moment as I was definitely heartbroken. So I sat, I took a deep breath, and I smiled through the sadness. Then we continued on our way through an area I had never walked before and we realized that everything happens for a reason. - Rock Your Life
While we may have been surrounded by a lot of rock, we were able to find beauty in something that someone else may just quickly overlook.
